This email is to give knowledge to new families or remind everyone else of the office information. 
The virtual office is located inside the Michael Berry Career Center located at 22586 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127; using door #20. It is best to email or call to arrange an appointment as I am one secretary and may not always be at my desk. Office hours are 7:15 am-3:30 pm.

School Counselor, Sabreen Alzayadi’s number is 313-827-8409; She only works part time in the office. If she is not in, leave a message that will go to her email or email her at alzayas2@dearbornschools.org  
Technology help: if you are having problems with a district computer that is on loan to you or programing problems or in need of a chromebook, please call 313-827-3075. They are not located in the same building and you do need to schedule an appointment prior to going for any exchanges or pick ups. 
ATTENDANCE:  
The district is now sending out emails and texts about attendance. If you are calling to excuse an absence, a parent must call the office, email Ms. Shannon @ manszes@dearbornschools.org or report in parent connect. A student or minor sibling can not call or email themselves. It is ok for a student to call with parent to translate. If you are questioning why you were marked absent, that needs to be an email to your teacher or asking the teacher the next day in class. Reminder, you can be marked absent if you are not clearly on camera, responding to prompts from the teacher or missing 50% of class and I don’t always know the reason why.  If there is a continued problem, do call the office and I will try to help figure it out. 
If you are having problems logging in to a zoom, please call first thing after checking emails to see if a teacher as posted they are out and you either have a sub or if it is async for that hour. 
If I am unable to pick up the phone, please leave a detailed message and I will call you back if needed or again you can email me as well.
